Based on a novel of Chilean writer, Alberto Fuguet, the film tells the story of Alfonso, a young student who wants to become a writer, and as part of his training program he has to take an internship at a tabloid newspaper. He starts at ‘El Clamor’ paper alongside his girlfriend Nadia. While she is given a simple office assignment, Alfonso is made an assistant to one of the paper’s top writers, Faundez, who collects stories through intimidation and emotional manipulation. In this time, Alfonso will learn some unpleasant lessons about himself. |
